Not sure what more there is to add other than the OP needs to find a 12v hedge cutter. If memory serves me correctly , Little Wonder who’s products were marketed in the UK by HC Webb, did once Market a 12v item but that was back in the 70s. I’m fairly certain that Tarpen’s offerings , either mains powered via a transformer, or from a petrol engined generator were either 110v or may be 50v .
It’s interesting how advances in battery technology have now made cordless hedge cutters a viable proposition for even commercial use. My Ego 56v standard and long pole hedge cutters have completely replaced their petrol equivalents.
Not just cordless hedge
Not just cordless hedge trimmers but a full range of powertools. I no longer have the need for a generator on site.
maybe just look at those
maybe just look at those models? Why Dextor?
What are you actually asking?
What are you actually asking? Lloyds of Letchworth were advertising these in 1940, several companies including Tarpen produced similar hedge trimmers with a petrol engine either creating direct power via shaft drive or electric current to run different attachments including hedge trimmers.
It was actually 'Dextor' as stated in the ad.
